H. W. Arnold said: “The worst bankrupt is the person who has lost enthusiasm. Let one lose everything, but enthusiasm and that person will again come through to success.”

How can we be filled with enthusiasm?

Keep your intake of great thoughts bigger than your outgo. If you are tense, uptight and stressed it would deplete you of your energy and enthusiasm, so utilize the spiritual principle of letting go and letting God! Give each day your best and leave the outcome to the Lord, trusting in Him.

As you do this daily, you will find renewed energy and enthusiasm. The Bible tells us to, “Walk in newness of life” – Romans 6:4. Wow, what a powerful thought, we are not to think old, dead, defeating thoughts. To walk in newness of life is to see each day as exciting and filled with surprises from God. The Bible says that His mercies are new every morning. The Bible glows with excitement and enthusiasm. It is called the book of life, and it tells us in Ephesians 4:23, “And be renewed in the spirit of our mind” not just on the surface of the mind, but in the deep spirit that portion that activates God’s thoughts.

Living a life filled with enthusiasm know this, our emotions are not always subject to our reason, but they are still immediately subject to action, mental or physical. So act with enthusiasm, face each day as though it was the best! After all, God made it, and we are told to rejoice and be glad in it! By doing so, our emotions will shift, and a life of joy and enthusiasm will be ours.

  1. Good Day Mr Carmen

I was in Downtown Christian Centre in East London South Africa the Sunday of your sermon. The last year I have been challenged like never before in my life particularly where I work. And I have faltered and waivered in my Christian walk, I have always known that God has a divine purpose for my life yet I am encountering so much opposition and the most difficult situation has been conquering myself. Especially letting go of those things I know are aggrieving the Holy Spirit.

I want to be better and I want the will God to have permanent residence in my life.

  2. Keep going to church, find good people that will help and encourage you to keep going. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!!
