If you can change the day, you can change your life! Bold statement but it’s true. Because God only gives life in days, not weeks, months or years, but days. You can and should plan for the future, but you can only live today.
Matthew 6:34 (message translation) says, “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come when the time comes.”
Let’s continue from last weeks thought transformer on how to make each day great.
3. Plan a good day. Good things seldom come unless we think and work to make them happen. Each day we consciously or unconsciously are making choices. With each choice we make we come under the influence of that choice. So make good ones.
4. Enjoy this day. Intentionally savor the good things each day brings. Enjoy the mornings, the sunrise, trees, birds, plants, the beauty of the sky. The. The smell of coffee, and eggs. Enjoy your family, friends and all those you meet. 1 Peter 3:10-11, “For he that would love life and see good days let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deception, let him turn away from evil and do right, let him seek peace and peruse it.”
To say this another way, do what’s right, don’t be negative about anyone or anything, the straighter you live, and the more positive you speak and think the better, happier and more significant each day will be!
