The great men and women of the Bible were strong, Moses remained strong all the way to hundred and twenty years. David was a mighty shepherd, fighter, and King. Look at Joshua and Caleb in their eighties, and they were still ready to conquer!
These men and women of the Bible were people that according to Hebrews 11:33-34 subdued kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouth of lions, quenched the violence of fires. They escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in fighting, and turned the armies of foreign enemies to flight.
This same strength is available to us, God hasn’t changed, and neither have we, we can tap into His strength. Let me give you a few ideas as to how, just a few in this blog, for a complete picture download my series called, “I Dare You.”
Get rid of energy draining emotions. Wrong emotions not only rob us of our strength but they have an adverse effect on our bodies. Look at the impact of fear, worry, anger, resentment, unforgiveness and bitterness, these emotions and others like them consume our strength and energy! Now think with me for a moment of positive emotions. Faith, hope, love, joy, enthusiasm, and courage, they create strength, energy, and health. It is essential to daily have a mental and emotional draining of the bad and a filling of the good.
Let go and let God; this is more than a nice saying, it’s a surrender of the reins of your life to Him. Let go of your problems, let go of your disappointments, let go of trying to please others, let go of striving for things. God is your refuge and strength. Let it all go and let God take over!
Download “I Dare You” and see your energy and strength return.
